Place the .rec file into your game's main directory and also ensure that you have a copy of the map in your Cossacks or AC/FB folder as well. Enjoy.

Movie: The Battle of Torgau
File Name: Torgau 4 Way

Prussians under the command of Kosciuszko push the new Austrian right flank as the problematic houses burn. The Austrian flank facing north has a huge fixed battery position that can tear the advancing Prussian contingent to threads. This position is flanked, and the southern Prussian division also moves east to join up with northern. After a huge Austrian cavalry attack, which had been aimed at the Prussian mobile artillery is defeated and beaten back, the unified Prussian army (Kosciuszko and The Drake) advances west, and hems in the whole of the Austrian army (Theosis and The Countess).

Prussian forces ascend and attack the Russian positions on the Allied left flank. Though outnumbered by nearly 2,300 troops, Greenwarrior and Duke of Marlborough lead the Prussian army to an astounding and rare victory for this field. They unify both halves of their army in and above the town which occupies the center of the Allied line. Their fierce attack on the Allied left (Russians under The Countess) is fought bravely but eventually succeeds. The Drake simultaneously fails to reinforce the Russians with his Austrian contingent (Allied right). This delay is fatal and the Austrians are in turn f lanked and overwhelmed.

The Prussians form defensive line at their southern most position. Theosis and The Drake take the Prussians and defend against the attack of Axle and Prince Eugene. Instead of falling back to the town and hinging their defensive line there, the Prussian players rush reinforcements across the river at the town and cavalry cross in the south to take the advancing Austrians in the flank. The advancing Austrians form up to attack the line, and cavalry action ensues on both flanks. The attack eventually succeeds and the Prussian line is folded in from both sides.

In this picture Austrians (left side) are seen forming up on the bottom of the map facing the Prussian advance. This recorded battle was hosted by The Drake for UK, Git, Axle and Stockman to fight each other as the server was down at that time. Drake later joins up and takes the Austrian/Saxon side with Git and UK against Axle and Stockman right at the peak of the Prussian advance. The advance it pushed back and it is the Prussians who make a final stand on a hill to the rear of their lines.

Here we see a massive Allied cavalry attack against the northern Prussian force. Theosis takes the Allied army (Russian/Austrian) and fights the attack of The Drake and Duke of Marlborough. The Drakes northern Prussian contingent is immediately the target of a massive cavalry assault that is eventually beaten back. Duke brings up the Southern half of the army and the attack carries the Allied left flank (the Russians). However, just as in the real battle, it is a resurgent and stubborn Allied right (the Austrians) that hold back and defeat the Prussian onslaught.

The Austrian line starts to break in the north as the Prussians push on. In this movie Duke of Marlborough and Greenwarrior take the Prussians and lead a two pronged attack in the far north and far south against Axle and The Drake respectively. The main defensive line is avoided as Prussians trudge through the hard to cross swamp in the north and Axle moves to counter this flank attack. Green leads the attack in the south and redoubts are breached then retaken many times. However, both attacks are eventually successful, and the Austrians surrender.

A large group of Russian lancers at the moment canister reduces their charging number by 70. Axle and Greenwarrior lead the Prussian attack against bud and The Drake who command the Russian army. This map provides the option of a draw to mimic the historical reality of this engagement. After heavy fighting and massive casualties, the Prussian side realizes they do not have the manpower to continue the attack and the Russians opt not to press their own�a draw is called.
