erm - once again i got another mtw Q- sorry n all that.
at the mo will people be able 2 become hawks from mtw only? and r the trials the same- you have 2 beat someone- if so what r the settings?

imo we should do no recruiting or anything on mtw, just play, we can wait 4 drake to make a decision but at the moment lets stay with who we have, no recruitin i thinks lol

I THOUGHT WE WERENT ROLLIN OVER IN2 THIS GAME, WOULDNT VIETNAM BATTLEFIELD BE ANY GOOD ALTHOUGH IT IS GOIN AGAINST 16th & 17th CENTURY HISTORICAL BATTLES PART OF THE HAWKS.

IT WONT HURT 2 MIX THINGS UP A BIT, I HAVENT PLAYED THE GAME BUT HAVE HAD A FEW GOOD REVIEWS BK ON IT FROM PLAYERS.

I PERSONALLY THINK ITS BETTER IF ALL THE HAWKS ROLE OVER IN2 A NEW GAME SO THEN THERE ISNT ANY ADVANTAGE.

Maybe for now, until final decisions are made, you guys continue to play each other and other mtw players and just ask them, as we do on all of our servers, if they would be interested in playing battles they way we do ( or they way you guys will hafta do in mtw ) and give out the link to the website , telling them you shall endeavour to play mtw in a similar fashion.

At least then you create interest and find a few players maybe who are interested.

Then once things are decided and settled, start recruiting the same way we do now ( I s'pose )??

I JUST BEAT MTW!!

I CONQUERED ALL OF EUROPE IN NORMAL MODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i had 50 years left!!!!!!

AFTER WHAT SEEMED LIEK AN ETERNITY I FINALLY DID IT!!

Thank God for those BYzantines!!! Countless hours finally paid off, and did it without any trading whatsoever... just with pillaging and ransom!

WHOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO FOR ME!!!

Lol yeah i play on very hard and it isn't easy and i like it most with germans especially their units.But the germans are wicked becuz of the place where they are.You can be attacked by italians,hunarians,polish,danish ,french or english.It's like the second WW germany vs all with few allies.There i suggest wiping the pope out so you won't have problems or by turning him on your side.

Guys if u really want to feel what is MTW game - try to load HTW mod - and play classic compaing any nations exept Persia- its really very very hard- all u have its 3 provinces - army cost very very big money and all profits are based on sea trade - whats mean war = economical disaster. HTW u play on special map - where is Greece, Balkans and Turkey. Starting as one of democratic nations like Athenian or Lacedemonians ( Sparta ) u have really very hard life. Persians are really agresive and dangerous nations and soon will attack. Each of your province can make rebelion so dont count on Normal Tax level ( in most lloyal provinces u can count only on low level ) The most depressed is most of this small coutrys have not any solidarity idea - and most fightig each otther - i was playing as Corynhtia and during war with Persia - Lacedemonians attacked me - ( so greedy stupid nation ). War with PErsia is really hard and u can feell haw some ancient generals were determinated- they invasion is not one or two armys but 5 or 6. In each battle u have very small army against very very huge. This game is really much harder than any regular compaing on MTW.

I was playing as Macedonia for 100 years i refused all PErsian Alliance propositions hawever i was to weak to start the war - after long time of collecting the money i could send 2 big armys ( its mean about 16 units in each ) - when PErisans had maybe 20 armys !!!!!!!!!!!! Hawever international sytuation was verygood and most nations started war against them too. Persian power was broken but few nice nations was elimated. Hawever after few battles i was really wet and tired.
I really advice u to play it . I was talking with some persons and heard opinions that HTW mod is impossible to play - some poeple was editing province parametr files and changing rebelel stats. .. So compaing in HTW is really not easy ( for normal country - not Persians )

Hawever any game coud give u such satysfaction .

NOw istruction
U need to have MTW + VI (+ 2.1 patch -
So best is to make copy ot whole game to another folder - create folder C:/HTW and copy there whole MTW folder, load MOD - U will get HTW Install EXE FILE - run it. Install program will ask u where u have MTW - dont install on Your old MTW ( cos u lost all saved games ) but choose folder where u copyied game - there u can install without any risk. Now u will have 2 game s one your old MTW second HTW. EASY !
