Hi Guys

Some of you may have noticed, I've been putting google add-sense links on the site. This is to help pay for the site costs, which Theo has already mentioned. Basically if you click on a link, you generate income towards the site costs. One click can generate between 1 - 100 cents in the $ and will build up to a $100 dollar check payout. So if we can make $100 dollars a year just by clicking on these links, then the site is paid for with $10 dollars to spare. All it takes is for you guys, when you look at the site, just to do a couple of clicks on the links, you don't have to buy anything and some of the links take you to some cool historical sites. If we made $200 dollars a year then I would suggest a nice prize for the two finalists of the next singles champs.

And yes there have been some fairly cool and interesting sites to view ..........if it's boring then at least you have spent a few seconds and made some income for the upkeep of the site.

Hi

I've checked the google reports and yesterday the site made $2.30. There is no reason with the support of the group, why the site can't pay for itself.

365 x 2.30 = $839.50

All we need is one $100 dollar check and that keeps the site going for one year, any extra can be awarded in competition prizes i.e. singles champion, best CII map etc

I check up on the site everyday during the week and will definitely click on at least one ad each day.

Maybe you need to somehow keep this subject visible on the message board because newcomers to here will just ignore the adds. I even did not noticed them.

Many thanks to those who have been clicking on the google links, we now have a total of $71.17, to help pay fopr the site costs. All we need is to generate $100 per year and the site will pay for itself.

The hawks balance is now at $84.15 and clinbing steadily, many thanks to our dedicated clickers, for your participation. If Theo has already 2 years worth of site funding, then I propose that our first $100 dollar payout by google could be used for prizes for the championship dooubles winning team.

Hi Sharpe

If we can average say $10 a week, that’s $520 a year minus $100 for site costs, which leaves $420 for competition prizes. We can have a singles and maybe a doubles championship prize, a CII map competition prize and I'll save $20 for the most obnoxious trumpet polisher in the group, which will be a wooden spoon, know anybody who we can nominate for that mate.
