NIce painting but too small as for me and as Sharpe i really prefer much moore yuour AVatar ! Really Cool ! I was curious where haw u get it and i find nice website about Swedish - Russian War ( http://www.multi.fi/~goranfri/ ) . Well so many great articles and pictures here ! And MAps !!!!!!! GReat material for map makers and really good source of information about this not well known ( for me ) conflict

Thanks everybody, yes I look very nice in my uniform dont I? LOL
You are a real Sherlock Holmes Kos, yes it is the best site on the tragic Swedish-Russo war 1808-1809 and I'll soon translate another poeom about this war and put a picture to it too. The tall dark man with the black band around his head is Döbeln, one of the bravest military commanders Sweden ever have had. He had a hot temperament. It is told that during one battle his Aidé Erling got shot and blood sprinkled all over Döbeln's coat. When he got asked whos blood it was he answered - it's Erlings brain, he lost his head while he rode alongside me.
