First Hawks battle on MTW. Agincourt. The historical battle field, unfortunately it was snowing!. Falcon and Elv against Emporer. French Knights, French foot and English respectively.

In the blinding snow the French fell on the flank of the English army. Boyed by flank attack the French launch all their Knights through the snow and get overwhelmed by English bill men and dismounted knights. By the time the French foot arrive, the cavalry are on the run. The French peasants fell on the English who had already picked their arrows up for re firing. The peasants fell in droves as some French Men at Arms made a last stand around King Phillip II of France.

A shamefull day for the Elv/Falcon Partnership and a great day for Edward the Black Prince AKA Emperor.

Army lists were not available for this battle so we chose from historically available troops at the time but with the same number of points available to each so that a balance was achieved.

HI MTW Hawks, just re loaded MTW as I have taken off the Napoleonic Mod so looking forward to fighting a battle soon, ps Elv I have made a FB version of Naseby using your twelve apostle theory let me know your e mail address again cos I would like you to cast your eye over it.

I fancy Crecy tonight and I have the armies worked out for two player I will have it for four by tonight though. It will be good to play Constantinople now it is complete (Well done Emperor). We will have to give the defenders time to get in the Castle as MTW automatically puts them outside at the beginning of the battle. I have never seen more than five of one clan on the MTW site and Thursday night we had three: and we have only just started!!!!

Wow, loved reading your description of your Battle of Agincourt there Elv. Thanks for the write-up. Congrats too on mustering 3 HWK's in MTW the other night, our presense starts to be felt.

I can't find out what version I have. Any ideas? I can tell you thought that I am on between 8pm and 9pm every night. I am on Grenwich Meann Time: UK time.

wait u guys play through game spy? not through the ,mtw vi server? ack guys i would seriously advise avoiding game spy, its much better to play vi with the server u get to through the multiplayer screen

wow What a lovely looking battlefield we had at the start of our first 2 v 2 hawks MTW battle last night, Manson, Uk ,Sharpe and the suicidally inclined Bud.
Forgetting Sharpes wise words of Valour first, I upgraded my soldiers with the best armour and weapons my florins could buy, my men loked good and boy could they swing those weapons.
But as soon as Sharpes blue horde started to chant there war cries I could sense the fear in rising my army, I led the attack from the front and started to kill my enemy when I found to my surprise my army running away and I had the indignity to be captured, oh the shame my ally manson batlted on bravely but facing nearly two complete armies he stood little chance
Oh well looking forward to restoring my pride in our next encounter,

was a very good game, but my last try of flanking uk worked a bit till i meat up with sharpes men lol then my run home hehe

i have now changed my MTW nick name to [HWK]Lord_GingerFish coz manson was crap lol and [HWK]Gingerfish was taken when i messed up the sign up thing.

look 4 ward to more battles
