Hi Guys
https://www.mastersofthefield.com/test_maps.htm
I have just inspected a map, which was created by one of our newer hawks. I would just like to say that I was quite taken aback, when I opened the map in the editor, it's a beautiful rendition of the Battle of Mollowitz.
Congratulations Stu not only have you become a hawk, but your latest map is of good quality and will qualify for publishing on the site. I will test it with the guys see how it plays, bud is away for 5 days camping, so I'll get it sorted.

Hi Guys
The Mollowitx map is going to get vetted and maybe tweaked a little, but you can get a copy from this link and give it a good testing:
https://www.mastersofthefield.com/test_maps.htm
let me know on this thread how the map plays ie is it balanced etc

Hi Guys
UK and I tried Mollwitz today and it was great fun, big map good balance and not to much art.
Great map stu well done.
I sent a copy to tyhe Drake and I think he will validate it against the actual battle for troop numbers and such before it goes on the site.

Enjoyed Blenheim, spent 90 minutes as defender against Git tonight ( first time for both of us ) and it was a great battle.
Need to check tomorrow, but do believe I recorded the battle.
NOt only that I did manage to triple grape, b4 the main battle started, a 160 strong reg of git's cav......also managed to screenshot this 2 / 3 times..... will make it all available asap for the site......... G3 you want it m8....... and what form dya want the piccies??
BY the way I lost, but we both agreed it was a great battle for both of us. _________________

Hey guys,
cheers for all the good stuff your sayin bout the maps
if there are any tweaks or whatever to do for mollwitz then i will b happy to SW.
The other maps were all done before i was a hwk and they need working on but glad u like them, i am goin back to work on blenheim over the next few days since it is the 300th anniversary this week and will research all the troop numbers and balance etc... and will make it available as soon as it is ready!
I also have another map that i was workin on at the same time as mollwitz called Hohenfriedberg (the following engagement after mollwitz) and it needs some testin so anyone up for that let me know
Cheers guys

regarding certain files which I can never open, for rules of engagements, etc the message I receive normally says...... Acrordr32.exe not found....... so is this an XP programme, as I have M.E...... does anyone have any clues??
Just so damned annoying when I'm unaware of the correct battle rules!! _________________

I have ME too. My comp at work opens them fine and it's XP, so I think that must be it. |
