Hi Krazee, I also remember you! Welcome to the USA! You will find Hawks on AOW and FB. We are not there 100% of the time but many times we are. If you have MSN messenger (free program) you will be able to contact Hawks easier. When you get the new PC, get MSN Messenger program, and put your MSN address on this forum and then we can add you to our MSN list and it will be easy to get hooked up with many battles.

Hi I am interested in playing maps but I have not succeeded in obtaining a reply from any Hawks member I have messaged in the shell trying to get a game. The game rooms themselves are passworded. Your maps look great and I would love to play some of them with some Hawks. So could I politely ask, how do you get to play or even speak to a Hawk?

Welcome to the hawks forum Sheremetev. icon_biggrin.gif

Unfortunately on the server there is sometimes a severe time delay between messages sent and then received by the 2nd person, if at all received at times.

It is very unlikely that any hawk has simply ignored your calls for a battle, because we all love to take up the challenge of new comers.

On occassion, if we are about to fight a long awaited battle or having to continue a saved battle then we still reply to requests for challenges ( if we receive the message ) and simply say that we would be willing to fight when we have finished the battle at hand.

Anyways, I hope you get to battle a hawk very soon and I for one, shall keep my eyes open for you at the server ( Fb I s'pose?? ).

Alternatively, if you like, you can leave a suitable date and time for you to be at the server and other hawks who are able to present themselves at the server for that time will leave a message here for you to confirm a meeting. icon_cool.gif icon_wink.gif

OK thanks Axel, it seems the FB server must be very slow. much slower than the Cossacks ones that I am more used to.

I will do as you suggest, I would to play some maps as they are more historicaly accurate and also you don't have to go through maybe 30 to 45 mins of town and army building before you get to the action!

I did in fact get a reply from a Hawk after I posted this but unfortunately his game started soon after.
