Hi all
Today i installed NTW on my MTW + VI - MOD looks really great, but i have one "small" question ( im sure lots of u has this mod ! ) So - i was trying to play compaign hawever i dont have any special option to play MOD compaign - there are only regular compaigns for MTW and one for VI - as i know NTW has own compaign ( or maybe they didnt created it ) . Ofcource i can play NTW with regular MTW compaigns hawever its looks so odd ...
I loaded many patches to MTW and upgreades so maybe i made some errors during installation ? Please tell me if NTW has own compaing ?

m8 whats problem ?
DId u load all upreades ? (exept MOd there are 2 upgreades one has 2megs second about 12 megs ) MOD and addons after uziping are self installing files so u should have any problems ...
One queststion - do u have VI Installed ? This mod works only for MWt +VI ...
LEt me know what problems u have with installation mabye i will able to help u

I know both mods are nice but which one u are talking about ? NTW ? or HTW ?
Hawever untill HTW is not finished yet im usually plays NTW : this MOD is my substitute of Cossacks 2 - hawever is not so bad .... Soldiers firing using line system - first line shooting and going on back to laod .. its looks like on movies.. Graphic is very good - and most of units are presents .. Horse artylery, special generals units ... all is really amazing here and compaing is very intresting too - Hawever one stupid thing - Castles - they are pure medieval casstles - shooting arrows to enemy  Hawever most castles in compaing u capturing after siege without charging.. Second stupid thing in compaing is that its start in 1760 - one turn = one year ( to bad authors didnt change it with months - compaing could start in 1792
Hawever its really great mod.

PS - but this NTW MOd was rather famous long time ago here. I remember first info about NTW i read on this forum, dont remember who wrote it ( that was time when i didnt know what is MTW so it wasnt so intresting subject for me ) |

Hi my views on the NTW mod are as follows,
Nice units a lot of troop variation.
Poor representation of Napoleonic warfare.No Square, column, etc cavalry break too easy, wedge formation in Napoleonics?
Maps cannot be set up that Historically.
Best played as original game was designed for and wait for Cossacks2 or Imperial glory.
Ugeo(Warthur)first brought info on this mod to the forum.

| i jus d/l the hellenic mod.....and i change my mind this one smuch better...the elephants r my favourite- and the maps are spectacular, units are very detailed.i love it |

HEY oOOOo !
U said Elephants ???????????? in my version there is no elemphants yet ... authors said that they will add them on next upgreade ... So tell me m8the version u loaded is really with elephants and chariots ??????

id advise you all not to waste your time with NTW until the mod is done, it looks pretty but has some huge flaws like for 1 cav cant beat infantry in line and bayonets charges are far to powerful, so i really advise against dling it until its done
p.s i know alot about this take my word for it |
