Hi, i am great fan of napoleonic era pc games old and new, good ones and crappy ones alike, from SSI's Battles of Napoleon to Wargamer Napoleon 1813, to Cossacks 2 , to John Tillers napoleonic battles series and of course Napoleon Total war. I enjoy them all - and also ones like Napoleon in Italy, Campaigns on the Danube and Empires in Arms (i just go that one on sale at Matric games)
naturally, the EW mod looks awesome and i have it installed and going and i hope that there will be a new patch with a campaign and more AI deathmatch options.

I would like however to play multiplayer also but am not free often enough and so like to just play casually here and there

Hello and welcome We use MSN email addresses for general communication and GameRanger. Skype is not required, but some of us use it anyway. thank you for that information - i have game ranger and so if i have a weekend free i will try and join when i can. I am away this weeked and next - its a busy time all the time it seems. I guess thats why i was hoping there would be more done for single player, but as i have heard thre are no further patches in development.

Can the historical maps be payed single player - all the ones available to download or are they only for multiplayer with no AI at all?

You can use those maps for single player but it's not worth it from my experience. The enemy will not fight back;-( and as far as the pictures are concerned, yes picture of your actual face. Don't worry that you're not a hawk, both hawks and guests are welcome for this special event. I don't like to leave certain people out of events. I like everybody to join

I'm just SUPPER DESPERATE to make this picture game a good game, now that the pictures were of pretenders, that I'll do anything to make this a good game.lol I know this is ridiculous, what I'm doing! But when you're as determined as I am nothing will stop you from doing what it it that you're determined to do.

thanks for the replies, yes i would like to have a game though after this week will be a lot better for me. I will have to get au fait with how gameranger works. I have it installed but have never used it.
