The Map Rules
Wary allied
generals, though keen to keep Napoleon off balance and under siege, are not
anxious to help the zealous Prussian general Blucher gain a major victory. To do
so would grant him the momentum to march on
Given
the political climate of this battle, the allied players (acting on Bluchers
command) have a unique objective; they must both gain control of all 3
strategic locations (seen here circled) plus do so with at least 1,000 troops
remaining to claim victory (objective flags turn color upon capture). This
would give Blucher the major strategic and political victory he needs. If the
Allies gain all 3 objectives yet have less than 1,000 men remaining, a draw is
called. If the French players are still in control of at least one objective
after the enemy has spent his attack, then they claim victory and it is the
Allied players that must Surrender. There are no time limits in game, either on
re-enforcements or play time. No upgrades or building allowed though sappers
may build explosives and redoubts. Do not play in a rated room as the
possibility of a Draw game exists. Once Objectives have been achieved or a
resolution is apparent, correct players should surrender or quite (in case of
Draw) to keep game fun and realistic.
