[FB] Seringapatam 1799

Author: [HWK]Jib (FB Only), The British-Mysore Wars were fought against the Indian Prince Tippu Sahib. Twice the city of Seringapatam was beseiged by the British as it was Tippu's capital city. Here, the Action Lines feature of Editor is cleverly used to create the walls of this Indian city. Indian rebels are here played by North American Pueblos, Indian sepoy units by musketeers. Up-grades written on map. A breach has been made in the thick walls, the British must now storm the city.

[FB] Lodi Bridge

Author: [HWK]GreenWarrior, (FB Only), Battle of Lodi (May 10, 1796), This was a small but dramatic engagement in Napoleon Bonaparte's first Italian campaign, in which he earned the confidence and loyalty of his men, who nicknamed him "The Little Corporal" in recognition of his personal courage. It was fought at the Lodi Bridge, over the Adda River, 19 miles (31 km) southeast of Milan, between 5,000 troops of Napoleon's Army of Italy and K.P. Sebottendorf's 10,000 troops.

Austerlitz 1805

Author: [HWK]Bud (FB Only) Austerlitz 1805 You have played Kosciuszko's AOW version. Now, here is our FB version, complete with heights and even fog. A co-op designed map, with Warthur designing the terrain and bud adding the troops. This is a semi-proxy battle, meaning the Allied forces of Russians (green) and Austrians (white) are played standard while the French (red) can be played standard or with proxy help from another player as Black. The Allies lost 12,000 casualties, 30,000 men as prisoners, 20 generals and 186 cannon. It is said that after receiving news of Napoleon's re-sounding victory on this field, Willam Pitt, Prime Minister of England, took the map of Europe off the wall and roled it up...it was all French now.

Heilsberg 1807

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (FB Only) Heilsberg 1807 The Russians (red) under Bennigsen are being counterattacked, having fallen back upon their fortified camp. The French (blue) are coming on in force, and Murat is about to lead his bloody cavalry charge. The Alle River runs through the field. A 4-person proxy-battle. Closed map.

[FB] Pultusk 1807

Author: [HWK]Jark (FB Only), From the Friedland Campaign of Napoleon's wars, this battle had no clear victor as French attempts to force the Russians back met with defeat and the Russians withdrew in the night. This map features a chilling landscape, with barren trees and snow speckled terrain. Up-grades written on map. The Russians have several re-doubts in place but can they hold back a determined French assault?

[FB] Medina del Rio 1808 Seco

Author [HWK]SirWilliam, Medina (FB Only) 1808 Medina was magnificent victory for an outnumbered Marshal Bessieres against Spain's generals Don Gregorio de la Cuesta and Joachim Blake. The French commander found himself up against 21,000 Spanish soldiers with only some 13,000 men at hand. Fortunately, for Bessieres, Cuesta's positioning of troops was woeful and allowed him to assault good defensive positions held by Blake without any fear of them getting support from Cuesta's men. Sending his men in at bayonet point, Bessieres overwhelmed the defenders and scattered Blake's army. Cuesta retreated. The Spanish lost almost 3500 men killed, wounded and captured, while the French suffered fewer than 1000 casualties.

[FB] Maria de Huerve 1809

Author [HWK]SirWilliam, Maria (FB Map) 1809 (Peninsular War), The Spanish lead by Blake defended against a French attack, lead by Suchet, on the Spanish right flank. After a struggle the Spanish line broke and they were routed by the strong French Cavalry. On this map the artillery has been given a different colour, to deter rolling cannon.

[FB] Douro 1809

Author [HWK]SirWilliam, Douro (FB Only) 1809 (Peninsular War). A further study in the Peninsular War by SirWilliam in which the dry, arid topography of Portugal is featured. This action saw the British (green) cross the river Douro against superior French numbers (red) and drive them back. Several up-grades, read enclosed material.

Talavera 1809

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB)Talavera 1809 British and Spanish troops (red) under Wellignton faced a superior force of French (blue) near Madrid. The French, under Marshall Victor, attacked and the Spanish soon broke, leaving the British alone to fight the battle. A 4-person proxy-battle, there are specific up-grades allowed as shown, a closed map, though sheltering in structures is allowed.

Corunna 1809

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) Corunna 1809)The French (blue) try to stop the British (red) from embarking at the Spanish port of Corunna. The British had rallied there after a long and hard winter retreat. The French were held back, allowing the British to escape. A 4-person proxy-battle. White is red's allie but cannot be selected in play. Also, look for more fixed artillery.

Medellin 1809

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (For AC & FB) Medellin 1809 A resounding victory for French (blue) over the Spanish forces (red). The Spanish cavalry routed, leaving infantry exposed to French cavalry that sabred them as the fled. A 4-person proxy-battle, closed map, French allowed one upgrade.

[FB] Albuera 1811

Author [HWK]SirWilliam, Albuera (FB Map) 1811 (Peninsular War), "The day was mine, and they did not know it, and would not run", [Marshall Soult]. Albuera was a British victory, mainly due to the stubborn British infantry who refused to recognise defeat, even when it was staring them in the face. French (Red) are the attacking side and the allied Spanish, English and Portuguese are defending the town and the heights.

Fuentes d'Onoro 1811

Author [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) Feuntes 1811 Massena lead the French (blue) in an attack on Weelingtons lines on the heights (red). The French were trying to relieve the seige of Almeida. Though they were un-succesful in driving the British from the heights, the French never-the-les retired in good order. Each side lost around 1,500 men. A 4-person proxy-battle.

Fuentes d'Onoro 1811

Author [HWK]Stu, Fuentes de Onoro (FB Map) 1811 (Peninsular War). Only the second time a Hawk has been allowed to publish an already existing map for the same game, this creation is features some great original scenery and compelling play. A numerically superior French army (blue) nearly forced their way through Wellington's spread out Allied force (red) but after several rebuffs, decided to withdraw. Not proud of his own performance, Wellington is known to have said "if Bonny (Napoleon) was in charge today, we would have surely lost". Read all enclosed material first.

[FB] Badajoz 1812

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (FB Only). A re-creation of the siege of the formidable Spanish fort (defended by the French) during the Penninsular War, this map features an intricate star fort (using the Action Lines feature of Editor to stunning affect), key points of defense and a daunting task for the British attacker. Up-grades are written on the map, and peasants inside the fort may only be used to repair structure damage.

Vittoria 1813

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) Vittoria 1813 King Joseph, Napoleon's brother, is fleeing north from Madrid covered by an army of 60,000. Wellington's Allied army of 80,000 is in hot pursuit and traps the French army at the Elbo river. Attacking from 3 sides the French are routed, losing 8,000 men (the Allies 5,000). This is a giant battle, and is on a large map. May be difficult for low memory computers. A 5-person proxy-battle, closed map.
