The following battles have been created for AC and FB, to download the battle right click on the map and select Save Target As, then click ok to download the zip file into my documents. The map can then be unzipped to your main C:\Program Files\American Conquest folder. The map may be viewed in the AC map editor but do not save the map after viewing. The map may be played in single player mode, but there will be no AI for the side assigned to the PC. These maps are best played over the internet as a 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 rated or none-rated game.


[FB] River Ambush

 

Author: [HWK]Meik (FB Only) [Map Competition Winning entry]. A fictional map that could be based in the time of the French and Indian War, this map features some rich and intricate topography (look for the volcano). A column of British are on their way to protect their colony from Indian attack. The colony is protected by a trench defense and fort but will they hold out until the re-enforcements arrive? All rules are clearly written on map lower-left corner.

[FB] El Banditos

 

Author: [HWK]THE DRAKE A fictional map set in Northern Mexico mid-1800s. A Bandit army of horsemen, joined by Indian rebels, has taken over a ranchero and set up base there. New recruits join up daily. A sizeable Federal Force has been sent to wipe the area clean of all rebels and bandits but has limited time to do so (food has been set at 50,000 for red). No up-grades. Banditos played by German dragoons, their rebels cohorts by Pueblos and French buccaneers. Map styled after Southern California landscape.

[FB] Mooram

 

Author: [HWK]Bud, [FB Fictional Map], The Battle of Mooram. This is a fictional battle where Blue has to capture the town of Mooram or defeat the red army.

Portuguese Harbour

 

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (For FB Only) The French under General Soult have invaded Portugal and siezed a vital harbour. The French Navy are anchored in the port and the ground forces have occupied strategic positions sorrounding the harbour. The Allied English and Portuguese forces have made a surprise landing on the South West strech of the coast and are supported by the Royal Navy. The British Navy must destroy the French ships and Take control of the harbour, while the British and Portuguese troops move inland and take the French strategic positions.

Russian Siege

 

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (For FB Only) This is a large map, which also uses iron mines as supplies. Each side must remember to put their peasants in the mine at the start of the game and also upgrade their mines to hold 10 peasants. The Russians are defending and are allowed one upgrade. Whilst playing Russians (red), cross to the North side to defend at your own peril, because the French are able to zero their artillery onto the Russian supply depot.

Rouen

 

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (For AC & FB) This is a map with a difference in that it uses an iron mine for each side, as the army's supplies. So each side must remember to put their peasants in the mine at the start of the game and also guard their supplies. No colour is obligated to attack and the object of the battle is to either destroy your opponent's army, with or without cutting off its supplies. Towards the end it will probably go down to cold steel.

Karldord

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For FB) This is a four player proxy battle, where green defends against black.

Desperados At Peru

 

Author: [HWK]Kosciuszko (For AC & FB) The Spanish interest in the New World soon took on 2 distinct forms; a massive hunt for gold and treasure plus a drive to crush the pagan religion they found and bring the indians into the Catholic Church. While the first of these objectives saw minimal success, in the second they were wholy triumphant. In this battle, an expeditionary force of Spanish with their converted indian allies ( both red) is out to destroy a major Inca temple (Orange, in upper right of map). However, Inca warriors have been summoned en masse to protect their sacred building. Red player wins if he destroys the temple. Blue player wins if he succeeds in defeating this attempt.

Indian Wars

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) The Sioux can only win this conflict if they destroy all of the settlements or crush Golden Hairs army in battle. There are peasants on both sides, which can only be used to repair buildings or put out fires.

Fort Dubois Redoubt

 

Author: [HWK]GreenWarrior (For AC & FB) The objective of this battle is for the red army to attack the fort and defeat the blue army.

The Battle of River Ford

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) This is a 4 persons semi-proxy battle, in which the objective is to destroy your opponents HQ.

The Battle of Villafranca

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) Two large armies have converged onto the picturesque agricultural town of Villafranca, vast stores and food provisions are abundant there. The town has to be captured and held from the enemy hands the first army to hold all of the entire town for at least 10 minutes will win the battle. Peasants have been allocated to each army in the role of pioneers and must only be used for the purpose of repairing buildings and extinguishing fires in the town. Under no circumstances can they be used for building new structures and no generating of peasants is allowed.

Montenegro

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For AC & FB) The object of this battle is for the British expeditionary force to evict the French from the Island, with the support of two of the Royal Navy frigates.

Magderburg

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For FB Only) The objective of this battle is for green to attack and defeat the red army.

Hussar

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For FB Only) This is a large cavalry battle, may the best team win.

Allegiance

 

Author: [HWK]Bud (For FB Only) This battle can be played as a free for all or as teams. Black and Red are smaller armies and if they take a town, they are allowed one upgrade of their choice.

Siege of the New Bastille

 

Author: [HWK]GreenWarrior (For FB Only) This is as the title states a siege of a giant fortress, where red can attack from three main positions.
