[FB] Concord (19th April 1775)

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (For FB Only) Setting out from Boston, a British force of 800 men headed for the town of Concord to burn discovered Patriot weapons depots. This ill-faited assignment has been re-created in a marvelous mission map that allows players to re-create the American ambushes and British resolve to push up the road at all costs. Patriot forces are Blue and White, British are Red. The "red coats" are compelled to stay on the road through map-blocking and have limited scouting ability. All up-grades allowed, even those un-marked. The British win if they can destroy all 3 store houses behind the town of Concord (marked on map). Read enclosed material.

[FB] Bunker Hill (17th June 1775)

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam (For FB Only) The Battle of Bunker Hill, In Massachusettts, the patriot army was growing. Thousands of rebels poured into England ready to drive the British out of the colonies, and more specifically, out of Boston. The rebel army took position on Breed's Hill near Boston on June 16, 1775. They also intended to take neighboring Bunker Hill. The British, however, attacked on June 17 before these plans were completed. Although the resulting battle was for Bunker Hill, the fighting took place on Breed's Hill. The British attacked the hilltop on three separate charges, with one coming as close as forty yards before the patriots opened fire. The rebels did not flee the hill until they had run out of bullets. Though the British won, about 1,000 redcoats were killed.

[FB] Quebec (31st December 1775)

Author: [HWK]Claudius Quebec 1775 (American Revolution) A long time on the back burner, this battle was created some time ago by the patient and studious Claudius to re-create a painful fiasco in arms for America, Benedict Arnold's attempt to bring Canada, through Quebec, into the realm of American influence. Though a number of colonists were seized by the same revolutionary fervor as their southern cousins, it wasn't nearly the number needed. It is absolutely neccessary that one read the instructions included in the download before playing as this battle has several rules.

Author: [HWK]SirWilliam Germantown 1777 was the attack that was supposed to be a follow up victory to Trenton. Washington planned on having several columns attack simultaneously with bayonet on this British occupied town north of Philadelphia. Though it showed initial success, the attack faltered as some American regiments attempted to dislodge the British from the substantial brick building known as the Chew House (represented here as the foreword most house under British control in map centre). The Americans were forced to retreat, harassed by the Light Dragoons as they did. Though a failure, this massive attack impressed the French who declared war on England. The slightly smaller American force (blue) is under the command of General Morgan (Green), who refers to Tarleton as "Benny" openly among his staff to minimize their fear of this enemy.
