Not sure how much intrest there is for this, but here are some random wargaming shots.

We start with the big ones, 40mm AWI, a mix of sash and saber and Front rank, the front rank is far superior, but at £3 a fig they cost more then solid gold.

Then we have my 15mm Napoleoinc, french and russians

And then we have My borodino project in 6mm, I have from 70 90 figures on each 3" base

I'm gonna need about 112 bases of 32 cavarly or 80+ infantry, aswell as 60ish artillery bases.
In all about 7500 figures and over a 120 cannon

And finnaly my lasted project, which I started becasue I paint and paint and never seem to get a project big enough to play with, so this time I'll buy the vast majority ready painted, so I only have to paint about 6 units.
One of those units is highlanders

28mm Plastic figures, I'm gonna paint this one, 95th rifles, portugeuse, hussars and dragoons for the british,
Mabye legere french, french dragoons and hussars, as well as artillery for both sides.
I'll paint 6 units or about 170 figures, then I'll buy about 14 units or about 448 figures.
I don't like to buy finished painted figs, but when that is done, I can finnaly game with a couple of forces.
And I can then spend my time just painting what ever I want with out having to hurry so I can game with them

Woooow
nice ones! where did u get this 6mm figures from? Playing Battlefield Evolution WW2 with 1:72 (ca 22-24mm) figures at the moment, but napoleonic or 1850s+ tabletop games would be great. Can you suggest some good Rulebooks?

Depends on what you want to play, tactical or grand tactical, do you want to push battalions around or brigades.

Do you want complicated or simple?

One rulebook I bought yesterday is called black poweder, and is and easy and very simple thing, that lets you play any battle during the horse and musket period, from around 1700 to 1898.

With those rules, you can play STW, AWI, Napoleoincs, Cremean, ACW, or colonial.
The rules are very generic, to simple for my taste, but they are fun to read and very easy to get others to play.
If you want more complicated realistic rules, you have General be brigade or the new republic to empire.

All these are tactical rules, were the battalion is the smallest unit.

Then you have Grand Armee, were each unit is a brigade and you play whole battles.

The 6mm figs are Adler

Cool, thanks, i will have a look onto this book.

Being busy with a little 1:72 WW1 diorama atm.

The diorama itself is nearly finished, just have to paint the figures (firstly i have to reduce my coffee consum :? ) and add some detailed stuff.

Will post some pics when iam done with it (could take awhile cause im too busy with other stuff i have to do :( )

Regards

Edit:

Hmm, why hadn't I seen this latest pics post? Strange. Yeah, some good hearty looking troops, solid painting job indeed. Terrain is very lush too. Great pics.
